Oh! To be like
A swan on the water
And let time
Just drift away
I was in Sydney for a couple of days this past weekend and took this in Centennial Park while I was there. I’ve always loved swans; they’re such graceful creatures and I enjoy photographing them. One of my very first photographs was of a black swan in fact. It’s nice to still be able to find new ways to photograph them after all these years.

Lovely! The water looks as if it were painted rather than photographed.
Thanks! I used a slow shutter speed. It gives the water a nice dreamy kind of look. 🙂
It really does! I need to get outside more and play around with my camera. 🙂
Sounds like a plan! 🙂
I envy birds. How they can just pick up and fly anywhere. Drifting sounds nice too. =)
Me too. They’re so graceful, particularly swans, and I’d love to be able to just fly away sometimes. Oh well. I’ll settle for letting my mind drift away. 😉
