An animal or a pet;
A cat is a friend
I stayed in Sydney for a few days recently and took this photo of my friend’s cat Jing Jing while I was there. Jing Jing is very mischievous and playful and I like how the image captured that. I thought I’d edit it to look more like a painting as well to give it a bit of a timeless feel. It came out well in the end.

A cat’s life is for me
This is Chanti. Chanti is one of my partner’s cats and has been living with us in Newcastle for the last few months.
She’s the most beautifully natured cat; extremely sweet and loyal and she particularly loves laying under the blankets like this, with her head on the pillow like a human. She’s definitely a little quirky which suits us well.
Chanti’s been great company and it’s amazing how much taking care of another being can help one heal… no matter what kind of day I’ve had, seeing her smile at me makes it so much better. Who could ask for anything more than that?
